Bradley Cooper As A First-Time Dad Is 'Good With A Baby' Says Pal Ellen DeGeneres [VIDEO]

Bradley Cooper keeps his family life quite private, more so now as a first-time dad. In a recent guest appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres" show, the actor didn't talk about his baby but the daytime host still found a way to bring it up.

DeGeneres commended Cooper for being "good with a baby" without actually talking about his daughter, Lea de Seine, with girlfriend Irina Shayk. DeGeneres showed a video of the actor in his previous film where he's holding an infant in his arms.

"I knew you'd be a good father when I saw you in 'American Sniper,'" DeGeneres remarked, as per People. Cooper showed amusement about what the host pulled. "I can't believe you. We already went through this before," he told her.

The exact date of the baby's arrival was undetermined as the couple kept their pregnancy news hush-hush. A source exclusively revealed to E! News the baby's name in mid-April, adding the first time parents felt "extremely thrilled and blessed" for their daughter.

Shayk's pregnancy was evident when she walked the runway for the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last November. The source told E! News the couple plans to have more children in the future. "Bradley and Irina love each other so much and this is not gonna be the only kid."

In March, E! News was also privy to Shayk's baby shower in another report. Word was Cooper has been a doting partner towards his pregnant girlfriend as he went with her to doctor appointments and saw through her pregnancy with the help of his mom, Gloria, as well.

The couple started dating in 2015 but have not yet married. Speculations of their engagement sparked when Shayk was seen wearing what looked like an engagement ring just right after their baby announcement, according to another People report.
