Have a Peek at John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's Newly Bought Luxurious House

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen bought a 3,440 sq. ft house worth $5.1 million. The new home is also in Beverly Hills, where they are currently staying. The couple had just purchased less than a month ago a triplex from the same Manhattan building where their current penthouse (worth $9 million) is situated that is amounting to $7.7 million.

The couple had their "organic modern" property installed a Smart Home system for controlling home lights, sounds, and camera even from afar. The building that is made from wood and glass has a luxurious kitchen that has a spacious living room and is constructed with high-end Miele appliances and a large countertop. In their massive kitchen, there is European-inspired cabinetry and an extra-long marble-topped island. 

Their small backyard features a plunge pool and an attached spa. The grass lawn and covered loggias can be used for outdoor dining. Situated on the second floor is a floating garden with a built-in drip system for irrigation. 

The house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, including a master suite that has a private balcony. They have customized built-in closets, and their bathroom offers dual vanities veined thickly with marble countertops. 

However, there are no reports yet on what the couple plans to do with the house that they bought. Still, it can be for Legend's sumptuous music studio or a work station for both parties, or it could be for Teigen to use for her upcoming cooking show. 

John Legend is Loving Being a Dad

John Legend is doing his best not to spoil his children because he admits that he experienced a different upbringing growing up. He said that the kids are growing up so fast, and he did not have any experience in handling kids. 

The "All of Me" singer said he has experienced touring alone in his mid-twenties and going together with their two children in his forties. He added that he loves bringing his family along and is very excited to let his children see the "world through their eyes."

Their family is currently practicing social distancing with their young children, Luna and Miles, in their rented home in Malibu. 

Chrissy and Teigen's Relationship

The couple first met on the set of Legend's music video for "Stereo" in 2007. Chrissy Teigen was John Legend's love interest in the video, and after they shoot for 12 hours, they checked-in on Legend's hotel, ate at In-N-Out, and finally got hooked up. They started texting and talking on the phone and then got together a few months after they first met. 

When they had their first trip to Lake Como, Italy, Teigen realized that she wanted to be together with Legend forever. The Lake is also the site of their wedding and where the "All of Me" music video was filmed.
