One British mom took the term special delivery to new heights. Bristol native Lucy Jones got a major surprise last month when she gave birth to her daughter, Ruby, in a bathroom, according to the New York Post.

The delivery was shocking for Jones because she never even knew she was pregnant. The 22-year-old Englishwoman said she had just hit the toilet with plans of pushing out a poo when she suddenly heard a crash.

When the trainee flight attendant looked down, two feet were sticking out of the toilet. Seeing the baby's feet was a complete shock for Jones as she believed she had recently gotten her period.

Jones took pregnancy tests before delivery, and both came negative

Jones admitted she had experienced minor back and stomach pains one night before the delivery but thought nothing of it. She opened up to Kennedy News service about her wild baby experience, insisting to the media outlet that she was taking birth control daily.

The shocked mom said she had no idea she was pregnant until she saw the baby in the toilet. Jones added that she immediately dialed 911 for an ambulance. She was not the only one shocked by the surprise delivery as the emergency medical technicians were equally stunned.

Jones said she was hysterically screaming that there was a baby. The EMTs were expecting a miscarriage when they arrived, but they saw a full-sized, seven-pound baby in the kitchen sink instead.

Jones had even passed a "fit to fly" examination just weeks before her surprise delivery. She also took two pregnancy tests, both of which came back negative. With Jones not knowing that she was carrying a baby, she drank socially throughout the nine months of her pregnancy.

She also went to the gym often, worked about 70 hours a week, and had several nights out. The unsuspecting mother barely showed signs of a baby bump during her pregnancy, according to the Daily Mail. Despite her infant's magical arrival, Jones fully embraces motherhood, describing her 4-month-old child as chilled and happy.

Jones' kitchen looked like a murder scene after surprise delivery

Jones recalled the moment she delivered the baby, saying she didn't have any pain and no one could believe that. She added that she had her backache and tummy ache, but there wasn't any pain when she was physically pushing out what she thought was poo.

After delivering baby Ruby in the toilet, she wrapped the infant in a towel and placed her in the sink. Jones immediately called her parents to her home and phoned an ambulance to get some help, according to Metro.

When Lucy's parents came over, she explained everything went blurry because of the trauma. She does not remember what happened after the experience. She only regained some consciousness once she woke up later that afternoon at the hospital.

She said her kitchen looked like a murder scene because when she ran from the toilet to the kitchen to get her phone, the umbilical cord had snapped, and there was just blood leaking out of her.
