Clea Shearer still has the energy to support and cheer her daughter on cheerleading night even after having chemotherapy treatment earlier the same day.

"The Home Edit" star and expert home organizer shared on Instagram  a photo of herself doing a number four hand sign and a video of her supporting her daughter, who was cheerleading, with the witty caption, "I might have had my 4th round of chemo today, but it didn't stop me from being a cheer mom at night! I turned into a full momager screaming, "you're doing great sweetie!"

Earlier this year, Shearer announced that she has stage 2 breast cancer and has been open about her journey on social media ever since. Last July 14, she shared to the public via Instagram that she had stopped her AC chemo treatments, which always left her in agony and placed her in "a living hell" after. She added she has now been under the Taxol chemo treatment, which is much more tolerable.

She added she has eight more Taxol chemo treatments to go, and this will be followed by five weeks of radiation. Even with the physical and emotional pain these treatments are causing her, she bravely said that the hardest part is already behind her and that she is happier.

She went public, aiming to inspire other women going through the same

On April 8, the Netflix star shared to the public that she discovered a lump in her breast after having some difficulty scheduling an appointment with her obstetrician, Today reported.

Shearer was firm and courageous when she said she would advocate for her needed care. She went public because she wanted her cancer journey to inspire other women with or without cancer and be a testimony that women can be brave and be victorious over this kind of battle.

She beautifully expressed that sharing her experience makes having cancer "purposeful." If she can convince her followers and other women to self-examine regularly, to self-advocate always, and to choose health over busy, hectic schedules, her disease, her pain, and her fight would mean something.

'Why not me?' Shearer proclaimed instead of asking, 'Why me?'

In her announcement, she also reminded her followers that even if one feels that cancer is improbable, it is still possible to have or experience this dreaded disease. She pointed out that she is not yet in her forties and that her family has no history of breast cancer, yet she has it.

She was so vulnerable and honest to admit in her post that for the first days upon finding out, she had this "Why me" mindset and feelings. She immediately realized, however, why not her when she had been blessed with all the support, resources, and especially a platform to help and be a voice for cancer patients.

"So if anyone has to have breast cancer, I'll gladly let it be me," she inspiringly declared.

Co-mothers and friends of Shearer cheered her on in their comments on her Instagram post on Thursday. Stars' stylist, Rachel Zoe, expressed that Shearer is a "force beyond," while Hayley Hubbard of the "Meaningful Living" podcast proclaimed she is a champ.
