'General Hospital' stars Kirsten Storm and husband Brandon Barash are expecting a baby.
"We're having a little girl in January," Barash told People. "It's been the most amazing couple of months of our lives. "We kept things quiet because of everything that can go wrong during the first trimester," he explained. "Kirsten did have a rocky (time) and we were in and out of the hospital."
Barash, 33, also confessed that they had difficulties getting pregnant. "We talked about wanting to have kids and Kirsten was told she could try hormone therapy. It was pretty bleak as far as the probability of her being able to get pregnant ... but then we got back from a trip to Amsterdam and discovered we were expecting. We calculated that we conceived the baby in (GH star) Tony Geary's guest room!"
Happiness is quite obvious on Barash's face. The gleaming dad-to-be said that he can see physical changes in Kirsten and that makes him love her even more. "A couple of weeks ago she wasn't really showing, but now her curves have just taken over," the actor says. "It makes me love her even more. It feels like a fairytale - we are so lucky."
He also said that they both will now prepare for their daughter's nursery. Kristen, 29, and Barash also confirmed to People that they secretly wed in June.
In 2007, Kirsten was arrested for Driving Under the Influence in Los Angeles. Her blood alcohol content was measured at 0.13, above the California legal limit of 0.08. In November 2007, she was ordered to attend twelve Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, complete a 90-day alcohol program, and pay $1,643 in fine. Her license was suspended for six months and she was placed on a three-year probation.
