The cast of "Baywatch" are all ready to hit the waves as shooting for the film officially begins. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared a photo of the hardworking cast on his Instagram account on Sunday.
The Rock proudly posted a photo of the tanned up cast and announced that shooting for the reboot of the 90s TV series officially starts Monday, reports Entertainment Weekly. The picture was captioned: "This squad has been working extremely hard for months for these roles - the time has come - we start shooting TOMORROW. Let's roll and bring the world some beach fun."
In the photo, all of them happily read on the script over a coffee-littered table. People also looked up another photo posted by The Rock on his social media account. In here you can see him and Zac Efron all toned up and ready to hit the beach, an exclusive first look of the two of them on the set.
Kelly Rohrbach will take on Pamela Anderson’s former role as CJ Parker while Priyanka Chopra will take on the role of Victoria Leeds. Johnson will reportedly play the role of an experienced lifeguard who will work with Efron, a novice in the game. Meanwhile, Alexandra Daddario will take the female lead, playing the character Summer. According to Johnson, Daddario will definitely deliver her role for the world to enjoy, reports Entertainment Weekly.
The film is going to be directed by Seth Gordon, the same director for the comedy hit "Horrible Bosses". The release date has not been announced yet. For the meantime, take a look at the old cast of the popular TV series "Baywatch" in the 90s.
