Friendly exes, Hillary Duff and Former Ice-Hockey player Mike Comrie, proved that divorce is not a hindrance for good parenting. The duo put their differences aside to celebrate the birthday of their adorable son, Luca, who recently turned four years old this March.

"We are good friends and we laugh a lot and we have a great communication. We share pictures when one is not with Luca. Yeah, he's great. We are great and we keep on trucking," reveals Hilary in her recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres. "We have such a great kid, and we're both so obsessed with him," the Younger star gushingly added with joy.

On Snapchat, the family shared a peek of the celebration held at the Duff matriarch's home. "Family chaos at Mama Suz's house," wrote Hilary's sister, Haylie Duff. In the photos posted, the birthday boy was spotted joyfully riding his scooter around their neighborhood, their guests and family members were seen enjoying loads of grubs and goodies while others loved doing arts and crafts in the party.

The Lizzie Mcguire star's Instagram post showcased a perfect family moment captured in a selfie of the four-year-old still wearing his blue helmet and t-rex shirt, laughing, while in between his mom who gazed affectionately at him and his dad smiling happily; captioned, "We are so proud of this boy!" More than those words, the former couple's decision to co-parent even after their split proves that they put their little boy's happiness as a priority over any of their issues.

In spite of their divorce being finalized just a month before Luca's birthday - vacations, family gatherings and even quick trips to mart are reason enough for Duff and Comrie to reunite. This also adds them to the list of trendy celebrities who surprisingly are still cordial amid the splits.
