"Fast & Furious 8" is already in the middle of production in preparation for its 2017 release. While new cast members are joining the movie, a report confirms that Paul Walker will still be represented in the upcoming installment. How and in what way will Brian O'Conner appear in "Fast 8?"
"Fast and Furious 8" movie will still see Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) in it despite his character's retirement in "Furious 7." As most fans can recall, Brian was given a different ending because Walker died in 2013 following a car crash.
In order to pay tribute to Walker and his character, the "Fast and Furious" cast and crew decided to let his brother, Cody, fill in for him in the remaining scenes as Brian. While Brian was seen going on a different path from Dom (Vin Diesel), a report from MSN confirms that "Fast 8" will still feature Paul Walker.
According to the publication, Universal Vice-Chairman Ron Meyer confirmed that Paul Walker will be in "Fast & Furious 8." It remains to be seen, however, how and in what way Paul's character will be appearing in the upcoming installment.
"Paul will be in it," he said. "But he will be represented in some form or another."
Meanwhile, Mashable provides a possible explanation for Walker's appearance in the upcoming "Fast 8" movie. The outlet notes that Vin Diesel recently shared a heartwarming tribute for Walker while they were filming a scene for the upcoming movie.
Diesel recounted that they were overwhelmed with a scene they just filmed for "Fast & Furious 8." He believed that Walker will be very proud of them, as they continue their legacy with the upcoming installments of the franchise.
"Fast and Furious 8" opens in theaters on Apr. 14, 2017.
