Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry Will Not Be Able To Fulfill Promise To Daughter After NBA Finals Loss

Stephen Curry will no longer be able to fulfill his promise to his daughter after he and his team, the Golden State Warriors, lost against the Cleveland Cavaliers in this year's NBA finals.

According to Hollywood Life, Curry promised his daughter that she will get to face the media and have front row seats during the media interviews if and when the Golden State Warriors will win the game 7 of the NBA finals. That will no longer be an option for the daughter of Curry since his team lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers by a 93-89 score.

The 28-year-old father-of-one had the weight on his shoulders as he was expected to give a great play during the finals. Before the game 7 of the NBA Finals, the two teams were tied at 3-3 with Golden State Warriors winning games 1, 2, and 3 while the Cleveland Cavaliers won games 4, 5, and 6.

An insider shared that since the NBA finals fell on the same day as Father's Day, he wanted to give his all so he could fulfill his promise to his daughter.

The source shared, "Steph's got a lot riding on tonight's game and there's more than a championship on the line. He promised Riley she would be able to talk to the press at the NBA finals table after the Warriors win! Riley loves being in front of the cameras with the lights on her face. She eats it up and Steph told her that would be his Father's Day gift to her, another NBA title and for her to share the spotlight with him after the game."

The NBA finals games have been very rough on Curry as he has been ejected from game 6 and threw a mouthpiece at a fan. He has also received many fouls throughout the games. His wife, Ayesha, even went on to say via a tweet that the NBA and the referees rigged the game. Curry recently joked during an interview that he was going to cut his internet at home so his wife would not be going on Twitter and saying things.
