Kim Kardashian Loses 70 Pounds in Eight Months, The Load Down on How It Was Done

Goal reached for Kim Kardashian West as she claimed that almost 70 pounds was lost after she gave birth to her son "Saint" to Kanye West. The 35-year old model mom's secret was taking Atkins diet and of course, regular workout.

The Atkins diet is a low-carb diet in which 1,800 calories a day is consumed. It basically includes lots of fish and turkey. This diet is designed by Dr. Rober Atkins, an American physician and cardiologist. According to Kim, " Atkins says that my limiting carbs (sugar) the body burns fat and make it a fuel". Such approach leaves the body constantly fueled, which results to weight loss even when more calories are being consumed. Steady fueling initiates constant energy levels all throughout the day while having not much of cravings. This diet tried andtested by Kim Kardashian is proven to have good results in over 80 clinical studies.

Kim said that she has never given value to weight loss until such time that she really needed to. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star told People Magazine at a Revolve launch party in the Hamptons on Saturday that she did not have such interest with weight loss because of some misconceptions about what she could eat to eliminate the unwanted pounds.

Kim said further told People  that one of her inspirations in recovering her body is her sister Khloe. "I saw her naked two days ago changing...and I was, 'Oh my God. You are my body icon.' She's never been more on fire," she said. Khloe has been a gym fanatic and is successful at attaining weight loss.

One of the setbacks from the diet, according to Kim, is the guilt of eating foods you love but should not be eaten. This happened when she gets to eat Churros while taking the kids to Disneyland.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians is an American reality television series that airs on the E! cable network, starred by sisters in real life: Kim, Khloe, and their half sisters, Kendall and Kylie.
