Accordingly, there have been names thrown as to who will be taking the place of Westbrook in case he does head to Boston Celtics or San Antonio Spurs.
Boston Celtics' Marcus Smart, Jae Crowder, Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett could be sent to Oklahoma City Thunder. Los Angeles Lakers is reportedly willing to send D' Angelo Russell, Julius, Randle or Brandon Ingram. Kawhi Leonard of San Antonio Spurs Traded for Russell Westbrook?
If the reports are true that Oklahoma City Thunder's Westbrook has been traded to San Antonio Spurs, this may mean that Kawhi Leonard will be coming to OKC. Presti reportedly asked for Leonard when he spoke with Los Angeles Lakers.
Other rumors have surfaced saying that this might not work at all because Westbrook's contract expires after next season while Leonard is still on a contract for three more seasons.
