Kevin Zegers and wife, Jaime Feld, are going to be parents to twins soon! According to People, the "Gracepoint" actor is expecting twin baby girls with his talent manager wife. The newborns are due this summer, Zegers' rep told People.
The 30-year-old actor's rep said, "Kevin and Jaime are so excited and can't wait for their little bundles of joy to arrive."
Zegers tweeted his gratitude to fans on social media, "Thanks for all of the well wishes."
Feld and Zegers were engaged in April 2013. After four months, the couple married. The guests at the wedding included celebrities such as Sophia Bush, Lily Collins, and Julianne Hough, Designtrend.com reported. Zegers acknowledged Bush as the matchmaker who introduced the pair, according to Daily Mail. Zegers shared, "I did a movie with Sophia like six years ago and she set me up with Jaime, her best friend."
Zegers shared his happiness after his wedding almost two years ago. He said, "It was like the perfect day. I know everyone says that, but the weather was perfect, the band was perfect. We just partied till God knows how long."
He was very open in sharing his sentiments about being a married man. "I feel like there was something calming about getting married. I know some guys feel bogged down, but I feel very mellow right now," he shared.
Zegers and Feld have always wanted to become parents after tying the knot. Just a few months after getting hitched, Zegers told ET Canada, "I've always wanted to become a dad."
"The more stuff I can do that's not about me, the better."
The dad-to-be just participated in a running marathon at the L.A. Marathon the previous month, according to Just Jared.
Zegers also starred in films such as "The Jane Austen Book Club" and "Air Bud," according to UPI.com. He was a guest star in the TV series, "Gossip Girl," from 2009 to 2010. He played the short-lived character, Damien Dalgaard, in the show.
