Toni Braxton Lupus [LATEST UPDATE]: ‘Un-Break My Heart’ Singer Wears A Heart Monitor During Her Georgia Show

Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton was recently sent to the hospital after her lupus flared up. Lupus might seem lethal but Braxton's family announced that she is recovering and is doing well.

Toni Braxton's representative announced that the singer was hospitalized after her lupus got the best of her. The rep emphasized that Toni Braxton was not in a grave condition when she was sent to the hospital. Though she was not in a serious condition after being hospitalized, her rep mentioned that her condition should not be taken lightly.

"Toni is resting at home and she is fine. She was in an L.A. hospital for a few days, being treated for her Lupus. She has been released and starts rehearsals for her upcoming tour this week," Toni Braxton's rep mentioned. "She was not in serious condition, though Lupus is a serious disease and must be monitored at all times."

Toni Braxton talked about her lupus in 2015 where she mentioned that her lupus would sometimes place her in a tough state. She told Huffington Post that there are days where she would just stay in bed as she going through tough times. Toni Braxton even describes having a lupus is compatible with having the flu every day.

HipHollywood released an update in regards to her hospitalization as the singer went back on stage just 24 hours after being hospitalized. The singer even posted a tweet where she announced that she's off to Chicago, as she will be performing at the Arie Crown Theater. Despite being hospitalized due to her lupus, Toni Braxton managed to perform on stage and pleased her fans.

NY Daily reports that the singer was spotted wearing a heart monitor during her concert in Savannah. It was visible as she was wearing a black jacket that was unzipped. Toni Braxton received love and encouragement from her fellow lupus warriors.

Nick Canon, who also battles lupus, sent her love and a heartfelt message on Instagram. TBut Toni Braxton is not the only performer that was diagnosed with lupus, as singer Selena Gomez was also forced to cancel her revival tour due to her chronic auto-immune disease.
