A week ago, Destiny's Child quietly launched a verified account on Instagram. Fans of the R&B group, Destiny's Child, pictured a reunion following the launch.
Sony Music Entertainment is running the Instagram account @destinyschild. It has only been up since last week but it already gained an approximate of 29,200 followers.
The Destiny's Child official account posted four photos, the fourth one was just uploaded as of this writing. All four photos taken during the 90s and 00s were about Destiny's Child great hits in 2004 to 2005.
The trio separated in 2006 and focused on their solo careers. According to the Daily Mirror, Destiny's Child members have been laying the groundwork for a reunion to celebrate the group's 20th anniversary next year plus an expected release of their first eponymous album "20" on Feb. 17, 2018.
Legacy Recordings (Sony Music Entertainment) and the rest of the world, media included, would love to see the trio back onstage after their appearance in one of Beyoncé Knowles' performance during the Superbowl 2013. After the famous performance, Destiny's Child album sales went up 197 percent.
Earlier this week, Kelly Rowland stopped the speculations saying that no Destiny's Child reunion conversations have happened. All three ladies, Kelly, Beyoncé, and Michelle are just enjoying each other's company. The trio has been split up for ten years but they remained close to each other, supporting each other's careers.
The original members of the super group Destiny's Child were Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, Latavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett. Controversial issues have bombarded the Destiny's Child as a group, as to why LeToya Luckett and Latavia Roberson were replaced by Farrah Franklin and Michelle Williams. Farrah Franklin also had a short-lived career as one of the Destiny's Child after missing major promotional events. Beyoncé clarified that Farrah was not kicked out. Reports have it that Destiny's forgotten child, Farrah, was recently arrested for intoxication.
