Holly Marie Combs has been a familiar face in "Pretty Little Liars" as she would often reappear to the audience as Elle Montgomery. The Hollywood star may be busy with "Supernova," but she reveals substantial information about the show and how "Charmed" became a long-time hit.
"Pretty Little Liars" is on its seventh and final year and everyone has been pretty emotional about the turn of events, including Holly Marie Combs, who has been almost a stable character of the hit TV series. She opens up about how she feels about the franchise and how grateful she is for being one of the cast members.
"I did a show for eight years and I was able to be part of this one for seven - I couldn't ask for more." The "Pretty Little Liars" cast member told The Iris. "It's nice, especially with this show, to go out when people are still interested in it and still really want to watch it, as opposed to having it fade away into obscurity! It's nice and it's sad at the same time, but I get to see Lucy when out in Australia, so we can pretend like it's not over just yet."
She, too, was surprised upon knowing that "Pretty Little Liars" will finally end, just like what the fans have been feeling in the past few weeks. She continued with the interview stating that they have already wrapped up last month, and all of them could not believe that the show will finally end.
She describes the "Pretty Little Liars" ending as "painfully addictive." Then, she added that what happened is understandable, and at the end of it all, the wait is worth it. Holly Marie Combs continues to say that fans will be very satisfied with what "Pretty Little Liars" will feature, leaving the fans "hopefully still wanting more."
The "Pretty Little Liars" cast member also shared her thoughts about joining another female-dominated show and joining young actresses that would have reminded her of her "Charmed" days.
"They came on to the show as mature as could be, which was fascinating for me; they were all very professional and all very dedicated to the success of the show," she said. "The wide success of the show is testament to their efforts and how much energy they put into their characters and how much care."
"Pretty Little Liars" will return to Freeform on April 2017. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
