Starbucks Celebrates 10 Days of Cheer: Free Espresso Beverage Every Day Until January 2!

Nothing beats free coffee, especially when it comes from one of the biggest coffeehouses in the country. Starbucks is feeling the festive season this year as they giving away free tall espresso beverages.

Starbucks is celebrating "10 Days of Cheer," where the massive coffeehouse chain is having their Starbucks' Pop Up Cheer Parties. These parties are held between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. local time at 100 participating locations daily.

Starbucks' Pop Up Cheer Parties began last Dec. 23 and is slated to run until Jan. 2. Starbucks will give away for free tall espresso beverages that are priced around $3 to $5. The espresso beverages are inclusive of cappuccinos, mochas, and lattes. Now, who wouldn't want to celebrate the holidays with a trip to your favorite coffee shop and come out smiling with a free coffee in hand?

Although unlike other Starbucks free drink promos where customers have to make an initial purchase to avail of a free drink, the Pop Up Cheer Parties doesn't require any initial purchase. Simply get a free espresso beverage. But there is a catch.

Only 100 Starbucks locations will join the fray of free espresso beverage for a specific day. The Starbucks locations will change daily until the promo ends. Business Insider notes that since the offer only will last for an hour per day in select Starbucks locations, lines will surely be out the door. Also, customers will receive a "Cheer Card" along with their free Starbucks espresso beverage.

The free Cheer Card, according to CNBC, features special offers and discounts on food and drinks until the promo ends. The offer includes 50% discount on "Spiced Sweet Cream Cold Brew, Holiday Spice Flat White beverage or lunch item (sandwiches, salads and Bistro Boxes) to a free holiday cookie or Cranberry Bliss® Bar with the purchase of any size handcrafted beverage."

Earlier this December, Starbucks launched their new holiday Fruitcake Frappuccino. They gave customers red cups to be made into a masterpiece, in a way.
