'Kingdom Hearts 3' DLC Characters & Release Date: Gameplay Title Includes Daybreak Town, Pre-Order Available? [Rumors]

There are a lot of rumors surfacing online about what fans will expect in "Kingdom Hearts 3." Now, a recent YouTube video by The Gamers Joint talks about the possibility of Daybreak Town in the highly anticipated video game.

TheGamerJoints' post talks about a supposed "making of the game" video shown at the D23 event, where game developer Square Enix included a 3D version of Daybreak Town. Gaming Bolt speculates that there's no reason for the team to include Daybreak Town if it won't be featured in the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts 3." Daybreak Town is a hub for the player, which is similar to Radiant Garden and Traverse Town, per Wikia. The said town appeared in "Kingdom Hearts X."

Aside from the addition of Daybreak Town, Vine Report also states a rumor that "Kingdom Hearts 3" may feature Star Wars and Marvel characters, where Luke's lightsaber and Captain America's shield will be used by Sora. A post on Square Enix's blog notes that KH3 will feature an older Sora, which will go on adventures with Disney characters.

The rumor of the "Star Wars" and Marvel crossover, however, is quite bleak at the moment. Game director Tetsuya Nomura said that even though they are considering the game's expansion, it may be hard to incorporate other franchises because of Disney's restrictions.

"It would be great if we could add those licenses as well," Nomura revealed as quoted by KDrama Stars. "There are lots of rules and restrictions by Disney so we can't actually put in everything people want."

Meanwhile, a listing on Amazon shows that "Kingdom Hearts 3" may be available sooner than expected. The said listing reveals that the game is now available for pre-order and is retailed at $59.99 for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, the listing notes that the "item will be released on [Dec.] 30, 2016," which means that fans must still have to wait for a year before getting their hands on the new "Kingdom Hearts 3" game.

For those who are planning on pre-ordering KH3, Amazon posted a note saying: "Customers may have received an email from Amazon stating that this title is scheduled to release on [Jan. 2, 2017]. Please note that the placeholder release date for this game is [Dec. 31, 2016], and [Jan. 1, 2017] just happens to be the next shipping day after that placeholder date. No actual release date is confirmed at this time. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused."

It may be exciting to see Daybreak Town on "Kingdom Hearts 3" as well as other franchises besides Disney, but these speculations must be taken with a grain of salt until the game arrives next year.
