'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers: Here's Why Jon Snow Is Probably Back From The Dead [Report]

There is no denying that since the finale of "Game of Thrones" season 5, fans have been looking forward to the upcoming season of HBO's hit series to find out the fate of the crowd favorite character Jon Snow. In the last season, Snow was stabbed to death by his comrades.

Snow's fans wish to see the character in the upcoming seasons, despite the production's announcement that the character is already dead. In an earlier report from Parent Herald, HBO's programming president Michael Lombardo answered the crowd who has been looking forward to learning about Snow's fate.

"Dead is dead is dead is dead. He be dead. Yes," Lombardo said. "Everything I've seen and heard and read, Jon Snow is indeed dead." For sure, the said response break the hearts of Jon's fans.

Moreover, Kit Harington, the actor playing Jon Snow also confirmed the report that Jon is dead. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor was asked if Snow was really dead and his answer was straight forward that he will not be returning in the upcoming season.

"Quite honestly, I have never been told the future of things in this show, but this is the one time I have. They sat me down and said, 'This is how it is.' If anything in the future is not like that, then I don't know about it - it's only in David and Dan and George's heads. But I've been told I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season. So that's all I can tell you, really."

However, new reports are suggesting otherwise. According to Watchers On The Wall, sources report that "Game of Thrones" is filming a massive battle in Saintfield, Northern Ireland for the show's ninth episode. The said battle involves a number of northern armies fighting, including Umbers, the Boltons, weddings and more.

However, the real deal of the report is that, Harington was spotted in the location and he was participating in the shooting. Yes, you read it right, Snow was involved in the battle, which suggests that the character could be alive!

There were reports months ago claiming that Harington was spotted in Belfast and just recently the actor was in Belfast again.

The report brought delight to fans who were still hoping to see more of Snow in the upcoming season. Few of the characters in the said show possess the powers of resurrection like Carice van Houten's Melissandre, MovieWeb has learned, which gives hope to fans for a possibility that Snow will be back.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 is expected to premiere on Spring 2016.
