Georgina Chapman is a mom again. The fashion designer-actress and husband Harvey Weinstein welcomed their second child, a baby boy, Thursday, April 11, The New York Post's Page Six reported.
"Georgina and son are doing extremely well," sources told Page Six.
After dating for three years, the couple tied the knot in December 2007 in Connecticut. They have a 2-year-old daughter, India Pearl. Weinstein has three daughters from his previous marriage with assistant Eve Chilton - Lily, Emma and Ruth.
Chapman announced her second pregnancy in December 2012. The expecting couple kept the baby's gender a surprise until the end.
"We don't know the sex, it could be Harvey and five daughters. I'd be happy either way," the 60-year-old film producer told NewYorkPost after confirming pregnancy.
However, the excited father had earlier revealed his wish to have a son.
"I am really excited, and I have four girls, so I am praying [for a boy]," he told Us Weekly.
Chapman had a smooth and trouble-free pregnancy after conceiving her second child.
"I am very lucky. The pregnancy has been perfect so far. I feel good; I am having an easy pregnancy," Chapman told Celebritybabyscoop earlier.
The pregnant star worked hard to experience such an easy period during her pregnancy. "I do yoga, and I walk a lot," the fashion designer told Us Weekly. "I don't go crazy."
Chapman, who started a band named "Jesus and Mary Jane" at the age of 13, entered the world of modeling in her twenties. She has appeared in many advertisements, including "Head & Shoulders". Chapman is one of the co-founders of the fashion label Marchesa.
Weinstein, who grabbed an Academy Award for producing "Shakespeare in Love", has also received wide attention for producing many plays and musicals like "Billy Elliot the Musical", "The Producers" and "August : Osage County".
