Kate Middleton, now a mother of three, recently penned a letter about hospice care where she talked about motherhood and her favorite moment about being a mother.
Children's Hospice Week
When it comes to parenting and motherhood, the Duchess of Cambridge should know a thing or two since she is already a mom to two toddlers, Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 3. She recently also welcomed her third child, Prince Louis, with husband Prince William. Suffice to say, that Middleton is a reliable source when it comes to imparting wisdom about motherhood and family life.
In honor of Children's Hospice Week, Middleton wrote a letter about the importance of spending quality time with family. As the Royal Patron of East Anglia's Children's Hospices, the Duchess of Cambridge expressed her gratitude for the "remarkable and life-changing support provided by children's hospices and palliative care charities across the U.K."
"They offer a lifeline to children and families facing the unimaginable," the Duchess wrote.
Middleton's letter continued by expressing how important it is for children to express what they love because it helps remind everyone that time is precious.
"The theme of Children's Hospice Week is 'Life's Short' and I am touched that children and young people are sharing what they love most in life and reminding us how precious time is for everyone. By supporting Children's Hospice Week we can help them spread joy and positivity across the UK, encouraging everyone to make the most of moments that matter," Middleton continued.
Family Time
Then, the mother-of-three shared what she loves the most about life and as a mother. Middleton revealed that she cherished moments spent with her children on the outdoors.
"Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish," she added.
It is obvious that Middleton is a hands-on mom to her kids. She frequently spends time with her children outside. The first time she was seen out with Prince George was during a walk on the Kensington Palace Gardens.
The Duchess of Cambridge also cherishes being a mother. She previously opened up about motherhood in an interview in 2017 where she talked about the different emotions being a mom brings. Middleton admitted that the life-changing experience is full of complex emotions of joy, love, worry, exhaustion, all mixed together.
