Smartphone users will have more options in the market other than those offered by Apple and Samsung because other brands of smartphones are also enjoying a growing popularity, among those is Huawei. Huawei is expected to launch a new flagship device at the end of the month.
Nexus 6 is a big deal for Huawei Technology Co. as they partner with the very well established multinational technology company Google Inc. International Business Times suggests that this move is a seal of approval for the Chinese company who has been struggling to gain acceptance in the United States.
In a separate report from International Business Times, there's a leak benchmark about Huawei Angler aka Nexus 6 in a Chinese blog, My Drivers. Per the mark sheet, Huawei's new flagship scored 3,641 and 1,156 points in multi-core and single-core tests respectively, thanks to its 810 processor.
However, many were not impressed with the Snapdragon 810 chipset for the smartphone. The chip from Qualcomm Inc. is powered Sony Corp.'s Xperia Z3+ smartphone, which was launched in United States as the Verizon-exclusive Xperia Z4v.
While the phone was praised for its slim design, according to a number of reviews it's good as unusable with the Snapdragon 810 chip. The said chip overheats and shuts the phone off even in normal use. There are other phones that used the different versions of the Snapdragon 180 chip such as OnePlus 2 and Sony's most recent Xperia Z5 range.
However, many are still worried about the chip's performance. All the more, many are troubled that Huawei's next flagship, Nexus 6, will be powered by the said chip.
Aside from the being powered with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chip. The leaked benchmark reveals that the phone will be equipped with a 3GB of RAM and will be running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
According to Latin Post, Google's Nexus devices are held with a "higher regard" compared to other Anroid devices because aside from running Android's latest technology it is also manufactured as bloatware-free with third-party applications from phone carriers or other Android-based device producers.
The anticipated Huawei Nexus will come with a 5.5 inch display and QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution, Android Headlines has learned. However, there are speculations that the device's final build will eventually measure 5.7 inches.
Moreover, the smartphone is rumored to have a 21-megapixel camera. Other specs include a fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C connector.
In the upcoming event scheduled on Sept. 29, Google is expected to unveil two new Nexus smartphones. Aside from Huawei Nexus 6, the company will also be launching LG Nexus 5X. Preorder for the said devices will be available on Oct. 13, Latin Post reports.
