Celebrity and fashion powerhouse Victoria Beckham is on high spirits this week following her successful show at the New York Fashion Week (NYFW), where she presented her brand's 2016 spring and summer collection.
"I think it feels liberating and fun and fresh and upbeat," she told ABC News about her designs, according to Yahoo. She also said that her latest pieces were inspired by her recent travels for work. "I'm traveling a lot between London and Los Angeles, working in New York, going to Africa doing my charity work, spending time in Asia and you can see that through the collection."
The 41-year-old mom of four has indeed been productive and busy this year, but it hasn't made her a less effective parent. "We've always been strict with the children," said Victoria, according to The Spec. "They have great manners and they always say 'please' and 'thank you' and I think that's very important."
"At the same time, they're still fun and they run around the house and they're crazy and they're singing and they're dancing and they're kicking footballs around," she added. "Which I don't allow them to do but that seems to be one area that I can't discipline them in."
The family bonds over their love for football that even their youngest and only daughter, Harper, supposedly told her mom she'd like to play football just like her dad when she grows up. "She said to me the other day, 'Mommy I think I want to play football!' ... dagger through the heart. I have three boys that want to play football. Come on! Let one of them want to be in fashion or dance!" the former Spice Girl member said.
In last Sunday's NYFW show, Victoria was with husband, David Beckham, and eldest son, 16-year-old Brooklyn, who has actually taken a liking to fashion, cover shoots and modeling. The rest of the children were not in the event, but the whole family was later seen heading to a restaurant in Manhattan for dinner, according to Mirror.
Dad David was holding Romeo and Cruz on each of his hands, while big brother Brooklyn carried four-year-old Harper. Victoria ushered her troops as they made their way to their restaurant of choice.
The Beckhams make parenting four kids look easy despite criticisms aimed at David for allowing Harper to use a soother one time. "Those who criticize think twice about what you say about other people's children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent," the sportsman said, according to BBC.
