It's finally official now, Maya Rudolph is pregnant again!
Breaking her long silence, the actress took to the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to confirm her fourth pregnancy, Us Weekly reported.
The 40-year-old was accompanied by her "Grown Ups 2" cast members Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Kevin James, David Spade and Salma Hayek.
"Every time you're on here you're either pregnant or you've just had a child," Ellen DeGeneres asked Rudolph. "How many do you have now?"
"Like 16, 17, I don't know," the expecting actress replied, later adding, "This will be number four."
The new addition is due in summer. "It looks like sooner, but we'll see," she added.
At the same time, Hayek recalled a declaration Rudolph had made last year: "I remember last summer she said, 'I can't believe I'm having three children. I'm never doing this again.'"
Rudolph was, however, thankful for the forgetting ability human beings possess.
"It's amazing how we forget. It's like that light pen thing they do in Men in Black. Somebody [pointed it in my face] and I was like, 'I don't know what you're talking about,'" NBC's "Up All Night" actress added.
Reports about Rudolph expecting her fourth child with director Paul Thomas Anderson have been circulating from February. However, the 40-year-old kept mum on the subject.
The couple has three children together - Pearl Minnie (7), Lucille (3) and son Jack (19 months).
The role of a mother is going to be a big challenge for Rudolph after the arrival of her fourth child, as she is already struggling hard to manage three children.
"It gets crazier. It gets more hilarious. I've definitely been down this road before but as weird as it sounds, it's like I'm doing it all over again," she told ivillage, shortly after welcoming her third child. "If anything, I just think you receive the wonderful gift of being able to relax a little bit more and be less hard on yourself."
"You don't have the time to stare at them asleep. You're happy that they're asleep because you're talking to your 5-year-old about school and trying to make sure your less-than-2-year-old doesn't draw on the wall," she added.
