On March 8, the world celebrated International Women's Day, and numerous celebrities shared inspiring and heartwarming messages to women and little girls, including actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Through his Instagram account, Johnson talked about the three incredible women in his life, his daughters namely Simone Alexandra Johnson, Jasmine Johnson, and his youngest Tiana Gia Johnson.
Johnson's heartwarming message
The "Jumanji" actor cuddled his two-year-old daughter Tiana and posted the video with the caption 'The world will one day hear from you too, my strong little love. And I can't promise you I'll love you for the rest of your life, but you have my word I'll love and protect you for the rest of mine.'
The pair shared sweet words to each other. Johnson was seen asking his daughter 'Can you say I'm a pretty girl?' and she repeated the sentence, which made the actor grin. He then said " That's right; but more importantly than that, can you say "I'm an awesome girl?" "I'm a smart girl ... I'm a very smart girl."'
He then continued "And I want you to say, "I can do anything."' His daughter then followed what her father said before Johnson replied "Now really, the most important thing is where is your mother ... OK, daddy's the best." The two-year-old repeated what he just said before she screamed for her mother and surprised Johnson. "Well, no, not mother ... you're ruining the thing! Daddy's the best," he said while laughing.
In another heartwarming post, Johnson shared a picture of his middle child, 4-year-old Jasmine, and posted an inspiring and sweet caption "Pōmaikaʻi, Blessed, strong and the world will hear from you one day."
The 47-year-old actor also has an 18-year-old daughter Simone with his ex-wife Dany Garcia. The ex-couple divorced in 2008 and in 2019, Johnson married Lauren Hashian in Hawaii.
Johnson's daughter joins WWE
In February, Johnson's eldest daughter, Simone, followed her father's footsteps and signed up with World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE and is now taking her first step towards her dream of becoming another wrestling icon.
She told WWE "It means the world to me, to know that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity, not only to wrestle but also to carry on that legacy."
Simone Johnson has big steps to follow as the wrestling blood runs in her family. Her grandfather Rocky Johnson, her great-grandfather Peter Maivia and her father Dwayne Johnson are all professional wrestlers with title wins.
The "Fast and Furious" actor congratulated his daughter and posted it on his Twitter account saying "Dreams ain't just for dreamers. Congrats to my #1 born, Simone Johnson, on officially signing her wrestling contract with @wwe @wwenxt and on her way to becoming the first 4th-generation WWE athlete. Carry our family name proudly, but your road will always be yours to create, earn & own. So proud. Live your dream. Let's work."
Simone Johnson has already started training at the WWE Performance Centre located in Florida. She also expressed her interest in acting and might step into it after she becomes a WWE star. Johnson is known to star in blockbuster hits like Moana (2016), Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle (2017) and Fast & Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019).
