'Bridget Jones' Baby' Cast Update: Renee Zellwegger Spotted At British TV Studio For Research Meeting; New Love Interest Reported [Rumors]

"Bridge Jones" star Renee Zellweger is all set to get back to working on the third movie of the franchise. The actress was spotted in London at the ITV Studios, where she's reportedly researching for the film.

According to Daily Mail, the 46-year-old "Bridget Jones' Baby" star was seen wearing trainers, jacket, cap and running shoes without any makeup as she went to a research meeting in the London building. The news site also reported that the actress seems to be trying to gain weight in preparation for the film, as she did in previous "Bridget Jones" movies.

Speculations are that the actress' visit has to do with attending editorial briefings for "Good Morning Britain" for the movie. It should be recalled that the character of Bridget worked in publication. However, sources told People Magazine that the Oscar winner was there to catch the taping of an early morning news show, as her character is going to be working in a similar fictional program called "Sit-Up Britain."

"We are all under strict instruction not to take any pictures of Renee. And above all, not to put anything out on social media about her being here," a building staff told the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, "Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey is also set to join the film as reported on Parent Herald. The actor's participation comes as Hugh Grant, who starred in the first two movies as Daniel Cleaver, has opted to leave the franchise. It will be Patrick's first major project since leaving the popular ABC medical drama he was part of for 11 years. His role in the movie has not yet been detailed, but there are rumors that the third installment will be based on the columns written by "Bridget Jones" author Helen Fielding.

But according to E! Online, the third movie will actually take place between "Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason" and the third story in the book release, "Mad About The Boy." This last installment saw the death of a major character, Mark Darcy, but fortunately, the movie will not be going in this direction. In fact, Colin Firth, the actor who played Mark Darcy in both movies, will be reprising his role in the third film, too.

Also rumored to be in the movie is singer Ed Sheeran, according to E! Online. The date for the release of "Bridget Jones' Baby" has not yet been set, the news outlet reported.
