Vanderpump Rules Couple Lala Kent and Randall Emmett are Postponing Their Wedding

The Vanderpump Rules couple Lala Kent and Randall Emmett carefully chose their wedding date. However, they announced that they are going to be postponing the wedding bells.

They Had a Long Engagement

Kent and producer Emmett got engaged in 2018. The reality star accepted the producer's proposal in Cabo San Lucas. They decided to have a long engagement.

Kent told the Us Weekly that they have not yet gone into one small detail -- the wedding date -- in an interview a few days after the proposal happened. She said that they would figure that one out later on.

She also shared that maybe by next summer, they will have a date on the books, but as of the moment, they are just enjoying being engaged. She said that because fiance is such a pretty word, she wants to keep it for as long as she can.

The producer has started filming with the Vanderpump Rules cast. He and Kent are also working together on movies like Axis Sally, 10 Minutes Gone, and many others. And Emmett is the producer of these movies.

The Vanderpump Rules Casts Casting in Their Wedding

Co-stars Stassi Schroeder, Brittany Cartwright, and Catey Maloney-Schwartz are going to be her bridesmaids, according to Kent.

James Kennedy will be the DJ of the event. Kennedy has been a long time friend of the bride. Emmett especially requested that he DJ on their wedding together with one of the groom's best friends DJ Sinatra.

Kennedy gladly accepted the offer to perform on a half-hour special set at the reception, saying he would tear up on that day. Later on, the couple announced their wedding date on the podcast.

The Decision to Postpone the Wedding

The Vanderpump Rules couple decided to push back their wedding due to the coronavirus spread. They told the People that they decided to move their wedding day to July, given the unfortunate circumstances.

The couple said that they are sad that they have to move their big day, but for the ultimate safety of their families and guests, they have made the decision to wait and see how the condition progresses. The security of everyone will always be their number one priority.

Kent previously made a joke on her Instagram story about the coronavirus. She said that she might get in trouble for it, but it was okay.

In her post, Kent said that she feels that God would not give her coronavirus before she ties the knot with Emmett. If ever she gets infected, that means that she needs to have exposure to the public.

Their wedding will be held in Newport Beach, California. Three days before announcing the news, she posted on her Instagram that she will be going on quarantine in the meantime. She said that the whole situation that we are currently facing is too heavy for her. She will be back when everything is over. And her last message to her fans was to be safe, stay healthy, and try not to fight over that toilet paper.
