CMT Radio Host Cody Alan recently launched "Teddy Time", a virtual pet playdate series featuring his golden retriever dog, Teddy.
Just like everyone else, Alan, a proud dad to his puppy, Teddy, is looking for a way to pass the time. And as a radio host, he knew exactly what he needed to do.
During this Coronavirus Disease or COVID-19 pandemic, with Alan looking for a way to pass the time, as well as finding a way for his dog and other pets to socialize, he finally come up with a plan.
Alan launched "Teddy Time", a virtual pet playdate series, that was (obviously) named after his seven-month-old puppy, Teddy. His solution for his dilemma to fight boredom, and a way for other pets to socialize. The series will air twice a week on Alan's Instagram and Facebook pages.
"Teddy Time" will also feature other country music artists and their adorable pets.
For one of the first episodes last week, Alan and Teddy welcomed the singer and song-writer RaeLynn, and her dogs, Cash and Dolly (named after Dolly Porton and Johnny Cash, of course).
At the start of the video, before he and RaeLynn went on into a discussion about their loving pets, Alan explained that they will bring the celebrities and their loving dogs for their viewers.
RaeLynn playfully referred to his dog, Cash, as the man in black because of its all-black fur. She also shared that the German shepherd is relatively young at only one and a half years old.
Alan said that RaeLyn can relate to where he is right now with his seven-month-old golden retriever which, behind the camera, was chewing on a treat. Alan also shared that he needed to give Teddy a treat to keep him sedated for a moment or else, the dog will be over him and all over the camera.
The "Keep Up" singer, RaeLynn, responded by expressing her delight. She said that when she found out that Alan got a puppy, she was the most excited because dogs are undoubtedly the best.
While RaeLynn and Alan hold their dogs up to the camera to see one another, they decided to schedule a real-life playdate for them after the pandemic is over. After all, a real playdate is in no way better than their virtual one.
On Tuesday, Alan had another set of guests, the singer and songwriter Brantley Gilbert and his dog, Bo. Their discussion revolved around the questions such as, if Bo knows any tricks, if he likes kitties, and Bo's playful encounter with a stuffed flamingo.
Future guests on "Teddy Time" will feature Mitchell Tenpenny, Brandon Lancaster, Nikko Moon, Midland's Mark Wystrach, Rachel Wammack, and Hunter Hayes.
For Alan, it is important to look after your loving and adorable pets especially during this pandemic. After all, they are the happiest whenever you are at home, and asking for a little of your time and attention will instantly make their day.
