Jon Gosselin responded when his ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, gets dumped by her millionaire boyfriend.
According to Radar Online, after dating for nine months, Kate was recently dumped by her millionaire boyfriend Jeff Prescott, who decided to go for a blonde who's younger than her.
Upon receiving the news from a friend, Kate's ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, has reportedly responded to the news by posting through his private Facebook account what the entertainment news outlet calls a "celebratory" response: an emoji showing two raised hands (as in a party), implying a celebration.
Seven other friends "liked" his post at the time of the report.
When asked about his response, the 38-year-old told Entertainment Online that he wasn't mocking nor making fun of what happened to his 40-year-old ex-wife.
"I have teenage kids now who are on social media," he told ET. "They read everything, and the last thing I'm going to do is trash their mother."
Although he admitted to have two Facebook accounts, he said that he didn't use any of those to make any statement about Kate's "unlucky-in-love" streak.
He explained that the report that referenced the post got it from a wrong account. This, he said, is "a constant source of frustration, to see impostors post the most ridiculous things."
Jon and Kate, once reality-TV stars of the show "Jon and Kate Plus 8," divorced in 2009.
In Touch Weekly reports that currently, they are at odds with each other over the issue of custody over their 11-year-old daughter, Hannah.
"[Hannah] said she didn't want to go home to her mom because she can't take the cruelty anymore," a source told the entertainment site.
"Hannah was so afraid of her mom that Jon became concerned and called Children and Youth Services and filed a report—and he took emergency custody of Hannah."
Hannah is one of the eight kids that the divorced couple have.
ET Online reports that currently, Jon is happily reinventing himself as a DJ, and has many gigs booked up and down the East Coast through 2016. He doesn't play the music that his kids like, though.
"They are into One Direction and bands like that," he said. "I'd be thrown out of the club if I played their music."
On the other hand, Kate is reportedly raising up their kids where she lives in Pennsylvania, has written books, and still continues to appear in the limelight, appearing in "The View," "Dancing With The Stars," "Celebrity Wife Swap," and "Celebrity Apprentice."
Currently, she is preparing for a new season of TLC's "Kate Plus 8," which was blamed for her unfortunate break-up with Prescott.
