Edward Norton is thinking blue. The 43-year-old actor-director and fiancée Shauna Robertson welcomed a baby boy in March, Us Weekly reported.
According to reports, the new parents are overjoyed with their new status of parenthood. Both Norton and the Canadian producer are "thrilled and excited for parenthood," sources told Us Weekly.
Sources close to the "Moonrise Kingdom" actor confirmed the pregnancy news in March 2013.
"Ed is really excited for fatherhood. He helped pick out a stroller for the baby!" an insider told Us Weekly.
This is the first child of the couple, who dated for more than six years before becoming engaged in 2011. Norton, who has dated singer Courtney Love and actress Salma Hayek earlier, has been always successful in creating a positive attitude among them, even after breaking up with them.
Love, Norton's ex-girlfriend, commenting on the engagement told the New York Post: "Wow, it's about time. He's 41, they've been together for six years. He needs to have babies. I wonder what kind of ring he got her? He bought me a ruby," she said. "He has great character. He's very political. I see him being a senator one day."
Norton is an active environmental and social activist, and is the brain behind the charitable website "CrowdRise" that stands to raise money for various purposes.
His busy schedule as a dad or actor hasn't, however, stopped the dedicated activist from fulfilling his duties to the society.
"Crushed about Boston. So senseless. Lots of the runners were running for charity," Norton wrote, while requesting his Twitter followers to donate and support the people who were affected by the blasts at the Boston marathon.
