Rebecca Judd Will Miss Homeschooling Once Children Returns to School

Rebecca Judd has been homeschooling her children since the pandemic happened. On Friday, she had her "last iso lunch" together with her son, Oscar, and said that she would miss homeschooling him when school resumes.


Judd had her last isolation lunch with son

The 37-year-old mom shared a sweet photo of her eight-year-old son on Instagram.she added a caption that says she is enjoying their last isolation lunch together. Next week, her firstborn will go back to school in Victoria again. The two enjoyed a Japanese lunch. They had sushi and gyoza take away.

The doting mother wrote that she would miss her son's sounds. She will also miss Oscar's classmates' and teachers' sounds during their Zoom conference. Apart from that, she will also miss the sound of a cricket bat hitting balls into their home walls every day.

She also said that the house would be so quiet without her first child with them.

Judd has mixed feelings

A week ago, Judd shared that she felt relieved that her children are soon going back to school. She has been homeschooling them for nine months during the pandemic. Last Monday, she described the day as a "bloody happy day." It was when her kids were back off to their school gates.

She used to feel anxious when she had to do isolation with her children. Now, she is feeling anxious about coming out of it. She told "3PM Pick-Up" that people adapt to changes pretty quickly.

Judd explained that she sent three out of her four children to school. She was thrilled that she no longer had to make school lunches because the school canteen was open. She also said that she is over the tuck-shop lady.

The mom-of-four said that her kids break for five or ten minutes for every 40 minutes. She said that she does not know if it also happens to other children that are homeschooling. It happens to her all day, every day.

Judd shares her four children, son Oscar, 8, daughter Billie, 6, and twins Tom and Darcy, 3, with husband, Chris. In March, she started homeschooling when the schools closed down to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

At their family's $7.3 million mansion in Brighton, Melbourne, she has set up mock classrooms for her four kids. While having her family home full-time, she documented the trials and tribulations they had.

In March, Judd hilariously shared in a frazzled Instagram story that she was hiding from her children. Her post showed her sitting on the floor against a cupboard with a robot vacuum beside her buzzing.

She said that she needs a break, so she is hiding in the kitchen.
