Positive things about having children and work at home during the pandemic

Before you resign from your job, think about the good things that your current situation brings to you. You might be too tired from doing everything, and at the same time having to worry about the future. But if you think about it, this is the perfect time to look at the small things and know that despite the hard times we are facing right now, there is still a lot to be thankful for.

Having a source of income

Like what is stated above, not everyone is lucky enough to still have a job despite having to take care of their children. Some managers do not appreciate selfless moms who juggle everything from work to caring for kids to doing house chores together.

Happy family

Having kids at home, no matter what age makes the house more fun. But it is not that fun when kids are crying or shouting in the background while you are doing video calls with clients.

If you think that you are one of those parents that struggle to keep their young ones entertained while doing their projects, think of all the parents who are wishing they were on your shoes. Some who are trying to conceive for years would rather have noisy kids in the background than just the two of them living in their big house.

Closer bonds

Being able to spend 24/7 with your partner and children is total bliss, especially for those who always work overtime before the pandemic happened. If you feel overly tired right now that your baby clings unto you, remember those times when you have so little time to spend with your children. As the cliche goes, "the days are long, but the years are short." So enjoy the moment, because you deserve to be happy.

See the kids grow

Go back to the days when you have to work six days a week, and some even work on Sundays, you will find that you spend so little time with your kids. One day you will wake up seeing your children all grown-ups and not let you kiss or hug them. Now that you have the chance to be with them, enjoy every second even if it is a little bit too tiresome.
