A mom said she was "blown away" by the sweet gesture of a couple after learning about her son's leukemia. Leaving without a word, the kind family settled the mom, her children, and her friend's bill.
Curious about her son's condition
In Western Sydney, Sarah-Jane Fryc was eating at "Pancakes On The Rocks" with her children and a friend when a young couple and their young daughter approached their table. They asked about Fryc's two-year-old son, Eden's, condition after seeing that he uses a feeding tube. Apart from that, they noticed that the little boy has lost most of his hair.
Fryc explained that since July 2019, they have been away from home because of her son's illness. She shared that her son has been undergoing treatment for his leukemia. She explained that they have spent the last year at a children's hospital to fight Eden's cancer.

The couple settled their bill
Fryc said that the couple left after hearing her heartbreaking story. Her friend went to the counter to settle their bill while she was still feeding one of her twin daughters. She said that her friend came back saying that someone settled their bill. She learned that the lovely people who talked to them paid for their food.
Since Eden's mom did not know the stranger's plans, she was not able to thank them. According to News.com.au, she wanted to show her gratitude to the parents who paid for their food, so she shared her story on social media.

She explained that the couple pulled her heartstrings because of what she had gone through in the past year. What they did has made Fryc realize that there are still lovely people who do things that are seldomly done by others.
While Eden stayed in a hospital for one year, his family stayed at Ronald McDonald House and the Leukemia Foundation while he gets treated for his illness.

Finally got to go home
The day after receiving the sweet gesture, Fryc and her family were "finally" able to go home. Her son is now in remission and is getting better. She said that what the strangers did to her made her day. Their actions had made her feel a lot better because she had been away from her home for so long.
Fryc is very thankful to the kind family because it was what she needed especially after going through so much in a year. To know more about Eden's battle against his chronic illness, a Facebook account shares all about his progress in his battling journey. A fundraiser is set up at Leukemiafoundation.org to help children with leukemia battle their illness.
