Suri Cruise celebrated her 7th birthday on April 18 with mother Katie Holmes and grandparents in New York. This is her first birthday after her parents' divorce.
Suri spent the day at a county park with maternal grandparents Kathleen and Martin. Splash News reported that Suri was in her school uniform but accessorized with a floppy hat and beige UGG boots.
It seems Suri had already celebrated her birthday with her father Tom Cruise a week earlier in Westchester, New York. The Hollywood star called into Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM Radio talk show on Wednesday, April 17, and revealed some little details about the celebration.
"Done already. All done," Cruise said on the show. "I take care of the kids early. You'll know - you have to plan ahead for these things. It's all done and all celebrated."
Cruise refrained from saying much about the actual celebrations but admitted that there were cupcakes.
The 50-year-old actor is busy nowadays promoting his latest movie, "Oblivion", a sci-fi . Katie Holmes is reportedly filming for "Mania Days," a movie about a manic depressive rapper (Luke Kirby) and a depressive poet played by Holmes.
Tom Cruise has two other children with ex-wife Nicole kidman; Isabella, 20, and Connor, 18.
