After 53 years, a woman discovers that her godfather is her biological father. What is more surprising about this story is that the woman learned all about this through an Amazon review.

57-year-old Fiona Darroch from Australia shared her story on how she found out she has hundreds of siblings and how she discovered the truth about her parents.

Putting pieces together

Darroch's doubts about her parents began when she realized that she had blue eyes, and both her parents had brown eyes.

It was in 2014 when she thought of this and how her thoughts drifted to her godfather, Dr. Tony Walker, who also happened to be her mother's gynecologist. Walker had blue eyes, just like Fiona.

Darroch said that her parents had difficulties conceiving a child for five years. It was Dr. Walker who helped her parents.

Darroch's parents and Walker were very close to the point that the gynecologist was chosen to be Fiona's godfather.

However, when she was 16 years old, Walker's wife, Molly died of breast cancer. A month after that, Dr. Walker took his own life.

Fiona kept all of the doctor's medals and other stuff.

The Amazon review

When Fiona first realized the coincidence of her and Walker's same eye color, she began to have suspicions. These doubts grew when she read a review on Amazon while looking for Dr. Walker's two novels.

The Amazon review was from a woman named Anne from Ireland. She said that Tony was her biological father because Fiona's godfather was the sperm donor of Anne's mom.

What made Fiona more suspicious was when she showed her husband the photo of Tony in his license. Her husband said that the guy on the photo had so much resemblance with Fiona's youngest daughter.

More than one hundred siblings

After the woman discovers that her godfather is her biological father, she eventually learned that there could be a possibility of having a lot of siblings since Dr. Walker assisted more than 100 families for over a decade.

In 2018, they were able to confirm that it was not just Anne who is her sibling. There is a possibility that she has hundreds of siblings around the world. Her siblings could be in the United States, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

It also appears that the age gap between the youngest and the oldest is fourteen years.
