A couple who lost two children in a car crash in July welcomes a baby boy. According to a GoFundMe page, on October 8, Crystal and Brad Sparks gave birth to their seventh child, Nixon Daniel.
The 37-year-old mom wrote on her Facebook page a heartwarming message for their newborn. She explained that Nixon is so special to her because although he could not replace anyone, he replaced some of the hurting feelings.
The baby boy helped them remove sadness
She said that the little boy has helped them remove the sadness and pain then replaced them with joy and all the sweet cuddles. The mom also said that even though she could not understand why the tragedy happened to them, she will be thankful to God for keeping the unborn baby safe that night.

Brad also posted on his Facebook page, noting that the name Nixon is the one they liked for their son. He also explained that the little boy's middle name was from their close family friend, Abe Daher.
According to the GoFundMe, Brad said that God used Daniel in mighty ways to help deliver his message for the nation. Even though he was one of the captured Jews, God sent him to give light to the darkest moments in the nation's lives.
Helped them during the darkest hours
Brad wrote that God also used Abe to help them during their darkest hours, especially when their family was in the wreck. On July 12, the family got into a car crash in New Mexico. They were driving home from Texas to San Diego. Their 12-year-old daughter, Bailey, and ten-year-old son, Landon, died in the accident.

How the accident happened
Crystal was having "driver fatigue" while driving their car that left the roadway and caused it to roll over. She was seven months pregnant during that time, according to New Mexico State Police.
The GoFundMe page stated that the pregnant mom got stuck for more than one hour inside the car. Some of their kids crawled out of the vehicle after undoing their seat belts. Every one of them got taken into the hospital.
Landon died in the hospital, but Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene. Brad, Crystal, and Cameryn were treated for "non-life-threatening injuries." Thankfully, unborn baby Nixon and the other kids were not injured.

Brad added on his Facebook post that the Lord had given them a "bright light of hope" by bringing Nixon to them. Their newborn came at the right time while the family was in great distress.
The family has paid tribute to their late kids. They hosted a live-streamed memorial in September for the two children that they lost. Crystal shared a sweet message for them.
She said that Bailey and Landon left a hole in her heart, and she thinks it hurts a little more for each day that passes. She ended by telling her, "I love you" to the sweet girl.
