According to TODAY, Roberts shared in the Cosmo article that in her 20s, she was diagnosed with endometriosis. The case affected her fertility. That is why she received a suggestion about freezing her eggs or looking into other options.
The first pregnant woman on the Cosmo cover went on to freezing her eggs. She said, When I found out about my fertility, I was kind of stunned. It felt so permanent, and oddly, I felt like I had done something wrong."

Roberts continued to talk to women who were going through the same case as hers. However, when she stopped thinking about her diagnosis, she became pregnant with her 35-year-old boyfriend, "Unbroken" star Garrett Hedlund.

Roberts said, "I remember when I was a kid and I went places with my aunt and people followed her like crazy. It's an abnormal thing."
