Viral Video: Dad Has Zero Idea He Was Dancing in the Background for His Daughter's Schoolwork

In a viral video posted on Facebook, a dad has zero idea that he was dancing in his daughter's schoolwork background. The video now has more than 12 million views. According to the little girl's mother doing her homework, the dad thought that his daughter was only doing a tutorial video that was not intended for school.

The young girl, Delaney, is in first grade. Her dad, Isaac, pranked her. The mother of Delaney, Jennifer Jones, was the one who uploaded the video on Facebook.

The viral video

Last November 17, Jennifer decided to share her funny discovery on Facebook. She said that she checked her daughter's seesaw app to see what she submitted to her teacher.

The Oregon mom laughed so hard when she saw that her first grader's dad dances in the background while Delaney was busy doing an artwork.

The dad was later on joined by two of Delaney's brothers, and all of them were dancing. In some portions of the video, Isaac would even sing along to the music.

At first, Delaney told in the video that the man dancing in the background was her father. However, when almost her entire family was in the background, she said, "What is wrong with this family? I'm just trying to do peace and quiet art!"

Netizens are laughing

When the mom saw the video where the dad dances in the background, she said that she was laughing so hard and hoping that her daughter's teacher did the same.

On the other hand, netizens enjoyed the dad and daughter video. Some of them even said that they love the kind of bonding that the family has.

Others shared that this is a typical scene at home now that families are finding ways to make distance learning work.

Dad has zero idea

Delaney did not tell her father that she was going to upload the video in SeeSaw. It was Jennifer, the mom, who discovered the funny and cute video where the dad dances in the background.

When Jennifer shared the now-viral video online, she shared in an update for the caption, "Daddy thought she was just making a "tutorial" like she typically does. He didn't know she uploaded it to seesaw and sent it to her 1st grade teacher!"

Even though it turned out to be a funny video, the dad responded in a separate Facebook post that he is happy that he brought some happiness during these times. He shared, "Thanks for allowing me the blessing of sharing my incredible family that always keeps me laughing."
