The luxurious smart appliance is a two-door refrigerator with the latest features. It can tell when food will expire via the touch screen interface. There are also three cameras in the smart fridge, all of which are compatible with your smartphone so you can check what is inside your fridge even when you are away.

So whenever you cannot remember whether you still have milk left at home, you can see what is in your fridge even when nobody is home, even you. Just view through your smartphone any time.

The trending smart appliance is called the Samsung Family Hub, a 671-liter (23.7-ft³) fridge with futuristic features and sound effects. The proud owner of the smart fridge revealed how it does this feature: simply type what product is in there and the fridge will tell you the shelf life, which is pretty handy for keeping check of deli meats, Daily Mail UK reported.

Followers of the Facebook group praised this feature of the Samsung Family Hub. It plays a role in helping to reduce food waste. That way, you always know which food to cook and eat first.

The smart fridge can be controlled by the voice-controlled assistant Bixby. You can easily make a shopping list and even other features through Bluetooth connect. This includes answer incoming calls, change a show or a song that is playing on the fridge, and even view your schedule.

Ovie Smarterware, a Chicago-based start-up created food-storage products with color-coded electronic discs that glow with varying callers. These are called smart tags and they signal how fresh the food is inside.

When your food is fresh, the smart tags go green. But when the food has gone bad, you will notice a red light on the smart tag. Those that are still good but will go bad soon are shown with yellow smart tags.
