Lady Gaga is set to film a movie in Rome, but the singer is distressed by what happened to her beloved pets and her friend. She received a phone call from her father, who told her about the terrible news. Her friend got shot, and her dogs were taken at gunpoint.

Lady Gaga Receives News of Dognapping

Lady Gaga's Father, Joe Germanotta, phoned the singer in Italy at the time of the incident. Gaga was recently photographed in Rome to start filming Ridley Scott's "Gucci," EOnline reported. Germanotta told her the sad news of what transpired while she was away from home.

On Wednesday, at nearly 10 pm, Lady Gaga's dog walker Ryan Fischer was out on their usual stroll with the singer's French bulldogs-Koji, Gustavo, and Miss Asia. Just then, an unknown suspect who was in a white car shot Fischer and took Koji and Gustavo. Miss Asia managed to escape the dognapping. Later at the scene, a police officer was able to find the black French bulldog, Miss Asia. Gaga's beloved pooch has her own verified Instagram account where Koji and Gustavo also frequently make an appearance.

Lady Gaga's Family Devastated Over Missing Dogs

"It is like someone has stolen your kids," Lady Gaga's father said over the case of the missing dogs. Germanotta said the entire family is devastated over the incident. He said he also spoke with his daughter several times about what had happened, NY Post reported.

Germanotta said Gaga's dogs are like her babies. "She is sickened and completely devastated by what happened." The crooner's father added that Gaga "feels somewhat helpless being far away in Italy." Yet, Gaga is doing everything she can despite the distance and praying for her beloved dogs.

The Manhattan restaurateur comforted the "Born This Way" singer telling her that the two pups are "comforting each other." He also encouraged Gaga to "be strong and remember, Koji and Gustavo are together."

Lady Gaga Offers Reward for Missing Dogs

The "Rain on Me" singer is offering a reward for the safe return of her French dogs. There will be no questions asked. The family wants Koji and Gustavo to return. The reward for the dogs is set at $500,000.

Lady Gaga's Friend Recovers

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is also worried about Fischer's condition, who is not just her dog walker. Fischer is also the pop star's friend, ABC News Radio Online reported. Fischer was transported to the nearest hospital after the incident. The Los Angeles Police Department was unable to confirm the number of times the dog walker was shot. Yet, he is recovering and is expected to survive.

Police revealed that it remains unclear whether or not the dognapping transpired because the dogs belonged to the celebrity. The suspect remains at large. For anyone who has information about the missing dogs can email KojiandGustav@gmail.com.
