Steph Curry Turns 33: See the Birthday Surprise from His Kids

NBA superstar Stephen Curry had a special day ahead of him on March 14, Sunday. He had a game lined up for him on that day, but that was not more. Little did he know that his kids were also planning something special for him. Stephen Curry's kids even made a custom-designed gift for their daddy.

Curry Kids Plan Scavenger Hunt

The dad-of-three woke up to his birthday on Sunday with three smiling children looking forward to see their daddy start his day. They had cooked up a game for their dad and was eager to have him play with them. Ayesha Curry and the kids took videos of the scavenger hunt game. Later, the basketball superstar shared the video on Instagram.

Curry revealed that he was mind-boggled over the scavenger hunt. Yet, his kids-Riley, Ryan, and Canon were there to give him clues and cheer him on. His little boy even wanted to hold his dad's hand as they went through the house. The video also showed a sneak peek into the private life of Curry, his family, and his home.

Steph Gets New Kicks

At the end of the scavenger hunt, the 33-year-old dad found a sweet surprise from his kids. Curry found out that his children gifted him brand-new shoes that his kids had custom-designed. Now named "Gifted Flow," the shoes are part of The Curry Flow 8s, Curry's first signature design for Under Armour, NBA reported.

The proud dad wore the birthday gift he got from his kids during pregame warmups before the Utah Jazz matchup. The blue, pink, and white sneakers starring on the court were a proud creation of Curry's Unicorn, Butterfly, and Wolf—nicknames he fondly calls his children.

"That I got to enjoy those 48 minutes in the court is awesome," exclaimed the birthday celebrant. Stephen Curry brought his A-game with 32 points and 9 assists. Combined with Andrew Wiggins scoring 19 points in the fourth quarter and Draymond Green finishing with 11 points, 12 assists, and rebounds, Golden State Warriors won over Utah Jazz with a score of 131-119, Golden State of Mind reported.

Head coach Steve Kerr was delighted over the "gratifying win" noting the intensity of the defense early which the team was able to carry through until the end.

Yet, the perfectionist player noted that his day was not a storybook kind. "I missed my 33rd point," Curry said, which should have been special granting that it was his 33rd birthday, Yahoo Sports reported.

Dubbed the greatest shooter in NBA history, Curry said that he has high standards so it was a deal to him to have missed his free throw as well. Still, Curry is very happy with how the day turned out saying it was a "pretty dope and awesome day." He also sent appreciation for all the birthday greetings he got and spent the rest of the day bonding with his family.
