Celebrity mom Drew Barrymore reveals in a recent show the movies that her daughters like watching.
Barrymore has two daughters, Olive, who is now eight years old, and Frankie, who is already six years old. The girls even call their favorite films "mom movies."
The favorite mom movies
According to Drew Barrymore, her kids love seeing her on the big screen. There are two films that her children love so much. The celebrity mom shared this in her segment Dear Drew for the show Entertainment Tonight.
The question on which is among the Drew Barrymore films is considered as her kids' favorite was asked by Nischelle Turner. Immediately, she answered, "Ever After. And they do like 50 First Dates as well."
When the girls ask for the mom movies
Barrymore finds it cute when her two girls refer to her films. She said, "And what's really cute is they call them mom movies." When they see a film where she is in, the actress's kids would say, "That's a mom movie."
The celebrity mom also said that she finds it cute when her girls would ask her if they could watch a mom movie.
The girls on Drew Barrymore's films
In a previous interview with Hugh Grant for their previous film, the two joked about having their kids watch their movies.
Barrymore said that she feels her kids have not connected to her roles in films yet. That is especially since they are only eight and six years old.
The joking between Grant and Barrymore started when the actor asked the celebrity mom if she has already asked her kids to watch their film, Music and Lyrics.
Barrymore said, "You know, I don't think they've seen it, crazy enough."
Grant, on the other hand, jokingly answered, "I make mine watch my films every night. If they don't watch my films, they don't get fed." This made Barrymore answer that she would now want to force her kids to watch Music and Lyrics.
Although her kids are not very much into her films yet, the Hollywood actress believes this is just a phase for her girls. Barrymore strongly believes that Olive and Frankie will eventually come around.
The girls: Olive and Frankie
In June 2012, Drew and art consultant Will Kopelman got married. During that time, the couple was expecting their first child, Olive. The now-8-year-old girl was born in September of 2012.
Years after Olive came to Barrymore and Kopelman's lives, the couple welcomed their second daughter, Frankie. She was born in April 2014. When her second daughter was born, Drew shared, "I realize I was put on this planet to be a good woman so I could raise good women."
In 2016, Barrymore and Kopelman got divorced. However, even after being separated, the two are still co-parenting their two girls.
