A dad with Alzheimer's has got the TikTok community deep in their feels with his reaction to his daughter's pregnancy reveal.
Olivia Salza shared an emotional moment with 63 years old Joe, her dad with Alzheimer's when he heard about her pregnancy reveal. Salza said that she has a hard time having a baby because she struggled with infertility for three years. You could imagine how big of news her pregnancy reveal is!

The daughter was then visiting her dad with Alzheimer's on the big day of her pregnancy reveal. She first asked her father if he recognized her. Her dad, with Alzheimer's, even joked and pretended that she was her husband Nick, but he exactly knew who she was.

The pregnancy reveal
Salza then said that she has a big secret for her dad with Alzheimer's. Then, she continued with her pregnancy reveal by saying that she is finally pregnant. Immediately after hearing this, Joe started to cry. He even covered his face with his hand because he was crying so much.
Joe, still crying because of happiness, said that to her daughter's husband and going to be a first-time dad, Nick, that he got his own. He added that Nick does not know yet what it will feel like to hold his baby, just like he did with Salza.
The heartfelt reaction from her dad brought happy memories for Salza. As her voice broke with tears, Salza recalled all the things that her father had done for them, and she said this to him. As a reply, Joe said that that is just what parents do. Something that made Salza cry even more.

In an interview, Salza revealed that she did not expect this kind of emotional reaction from her dad with Alzheimer's. She even shared a painful moment just a few days ago when she had to bring her dad to the hospital because he was wandering outside, not knowing who he was or who she was.
After her pregnancy reveals, Salza said that Joe talked more to her husband about the joys of being a dad. But because he had Alzheimer's, things are not always linear.
Salza shared that some days when her dad remembers that she is pregnant, while there are also some days that he does not.
