A San Francisco family is offering a nanny salary of $100K a year. The family needs three nannies, and the positions come with health benefits.

According to an article from the New York Post, the wealthy family needs three nannies to look after their two children, a baby and a toddler. The online listing for the three nannies was posted by a luxury staffing firm named Louer. According to NY Post, the job listing has been removed by Louer. However, there are still similar roles being advertised.

The San Fransisco Family

The nannies have to reside on the premise of their family mansion in the Presidio Heights of Napa, San Francisco.

According to NY Post, houses' prices in that neighborhood range from $5 million to $9 million. Recently, Julia Roberts has been reported to buy a property in the area. Her mansion was said to be purchased at $8.3 million.

The Requirements

In the online listing, the nannies will be required to work 12-hour shifts. The San Francisco family, who remains anonymous, listed several requirements and qualifications for the post with a nanny salary of $100K.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Should be a graduate with a bachelor's degree.
  • Has a driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Should be willing to travel since the family travels at least ten weeks a year.

According to the job listing, "Typically family travels approximately ten weeks per year. The family has various residences across the country."

The Responsibilities

Applicants are expected to be knowledgeable of the following:

  • baby experience
  • play-based and educational activities
  • child development
  • can assist children with their homework
  • is a diligent team player
  • can pack healthy lunches
  • support the reinforcement of manners and social skills of children

Qualifications of the nanny

In the online listing, the employer also specified that the applicant should have a "Bachelor's degree and/or Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or Early Childhood Development is ideal, but bachelor's degree is required."

Another qualification is that the person should have a CPR Certification and has full-time nanny experience of at least three years. That also comes with at least 3-4 references from professional positions.

The position is also requiring 2-5 years of commitment.

Aside from these, the employer is also looking into applicants that are "honest, trustworthy, understand the importance of maintaining discretion." Also, a confidentiality agreement will be required.

The nanny salary and benefits

Aside from a $100K gross nanny salary for a year, the job also comes with health insurance, including dental and vision insurance.

The nannies will also have paid vacation and sick days.

Also, depending on their performance evaluation, the nanny may have an annual bonus and raise.
