Julia Roberts' Teen Daughter, Hazel, Makes Cannes Red Carpet Debut

Julia Roberts' 16-year-old daughter, Hazel Moder, had her debut at the Cannes Film Festival red carpet to support her cinematographer father, Daniel Moder, whose movie, "Flag Day," is screening in the event.

Hazel wore a long and lacey shirt dress in pale yellow and matched the outfit with a pair of black Mary Janes. According to Page Six, the teenager exuded a style similar to her famous award-winning mom, who likes to wear vintage garments.

On the other hand, Daniel looked dapper in a tuxedo as he stood next to Hazel for photos with the press. As the cinematographer of "Flag Day," Daniel worked with director and actor Sean Penn and his son Dylan Penn.

Julia Roberts' Heritage Collection

In 2017, Julia revealed in an interview with People that she has a lot of her vintage clothes preserved so that Hazel could wear them one day. She revealed that she has a "little space" in their house, which her husband dubbed "the Heritage Collection" because it's filled with her old stuff.

Julia said that she doesn't want to get rid of the items in the Heritage Collection because Hazel might want it one day. At that time, Hazel was about to enter her teenage years, and her father told Julia that she could have a different style and would "want her own clothes" than her mother's vintage pieces. Four years later, it looks like the mother knows best after all.

Despite her mother's superstar status in Hollywood, Hazel has been rarely seen in the spotlight while growing up with her twin brother, Phinnaeus. The twins were born in 2004, and they have a younger sibling, Henry, born in 2007.

Hazel had a small role in Julia's 2016 movie "Mother's Day," where she's billed as the "Cartwheel kid." When she was seven years old, Hazel joined an acting class as she has shown interest in her mother's work since she was four years old. For now, however, all of the Moder kids are still focused on completing school.

Julia Roberts' Marriage

In early July, the actress shared a photo of herself and her husband on the beach as they celebrated 19 years of marriage. Julia once gushed to the press that being married to Daniel has been like a beautiful "recurring dream."

The Moder family lives in Malibu, California, where Julia said life has been pretty normal despite their high-profile world. The actress said that she's grateful to have a sense of community in Malibu. However, she and Daniel also invested in a property in New Mexico that Julia calls their peaceful respite.

Julia and Daniel met on the set of the 2000 movie "The Mexican." Julia was the star while Daniel was working behind the scenes as the cinematographer. In 2002, the couple got married in New Mexico. Before meeting Daniel, Julia was briefly married to country singer Lyle Lovett.
