Chelsea Clinton posted a photo of her daughter Charlotte before she had her first birthday.
Entertainment Online reports that Chelsea Clinton's baby girl, Charlotte, turned 1 last weekend, but prior to that, she posted a rare photo of the little princess reading a bedtime story.
"Last book for Charlotte before bedtime on her first birthday!" she wrote on her Twitter Saturday night. "Marc & I are so grateful every day to be her parents."
People reports that they celebrated little Charlotte's first birthday at Apple Seeds, an indoor playground and sp for kids in New York City.
In an interview with the entertainment site earlier this month, Chelsea said that publicly sharing her baby's photos "just hasn't felt right."
“But,” she added, “I have no doubt that, at some point, I might succumb to the ‘this is such a cute moment that I feel the need to share it more broadly’ impulse.”
And with that, this rare photo is most probably one of those that happy mom Chelsea could not contain, that's why she posted it.
“[I’m] focusing on how to ensure that Charlotte has every chance that I would hope for every child,” she said, expressing her desire for her child. ” To develop her own dreams and identity and path, absent scrutiny and haranguing from the outside — and part of that is helping her understand what’s real and what’s just noise.”
E! Online reports that a day after Charlotte's birthday, Chelsea's mom, Hillary, posted a campaign video that contained pictures of the baby and a message to parents in the country.
You should not have to be the grandchild of a former president to know that you can make it in America. https://t.co/4BzHfPli2x — Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) September 27, 2015
"When I look at my new granddaughter, I think to myself, we're going to do everything we can to make sure she has opportunities in life," Hillary explained. "But what about all the kids?"
"You should not have to be the grandchild of a former president to know that you can make it in America," she continued.
Chelsea, happy with her baby, expresses her happiness every time she sees her mom interact with her baby.
"I love watching my mom read to Charlotte, sing to her, support her quite literally, because as we were talking earlier, Charlotte is starting to stand and she's trying to learn how to talk and there's a lot of actual support, not just sort of figurative support and nurturing," she shared with E! Online.
"I love seeing my mom as a grandmother."
