Angelina Jolie and her brood of five kids were a show of force at the red-carpet premiere of the "Eternals," the new Marvel blockbuster movie featuring the Hollywood star as a superhero. The proud mom said that her children wore recycled stuff from her closet at the movie event.

Everyone noticed that Zahara Jolie-Pitt was wearing her mother's old gown for the "Eternals" premiere. The 16-year-old wore a shimmering light-pink dress from Elie Saab Couture, which her mother first wore at the 2014 Oscar Awards with their father.

However, siblings Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 15, Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 20, and twins Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt, 13, also picked an item owned by their mother and upcycled the pieces to fit their style. Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Jolie said that her kids mixed her vintage pieces to make them look new again. Shiloh was wearing a beige Gabriela Hearst dress that her mother wore for a "Women for Bees" event with Guerlain in France over the summer.

Jolie and her children stepped out in neutral tones to follow their mother's favorite style. As for the star of the night, Jolie wore a Balmain gown and her vintage Tiffany & Co. jewelry.

The only child missing from this family affair was Pax, 17, but Jolie didn't say why her son was not at the event.

Not Quite Excited

The actress joked that her grown kids might not be too excited to see her in a superhero movie. She does not take it against them because no teenager wants to see their mom wearing gold spandex with gold hair.

Jolie plays Thena in "Eternals," a skilled warrior from the ancient period who can wield any kind of weapon with her hands. According to Screen Rant, the award-winning actress initially thought her role was just a "small cameo" until the producers explained that she was part of a major ensemble in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The A-list star admitted that she wouldn't usually get on board a superhero or science fiction project. However, she liked her character's trajectory in the "Eternals," so she could not turn it down.

"It felt like something else was happening in this film, though," Jolie said. "It was very character-driven."

Custody Battle with Brad Pitt

Meanwhile, amid this family time, Jolie has been back and forth in court to challenge her ex-husband in a custody battle over their five minor children. In September, Jolie told The Guardian that it "took a lot from her" to decide to divorce Pitt, but she needed to do this for her children's safety.

The actress didn't go into details, but Pitt was under FBI investigation for child abuse following their separation in 2016. He was subsequently cleared for any allegations.

In May, Pitt was awarded joint custody of the children, but Jolie has contested this in court, saying that Judge John Ouderkirk had past dealings with her ex-husband; thus, he cannot be unbiased about his decisions. According to reports, Ouderkirk also didn't allow the kids to testify against their father for domestic violence.
