A remarkable replica of a "Bluey" house on Airbnb has drawn a crowd of excited kids and parents who may enjoy a dream vacation and live the experience similar to the characters in the popular children's series.

The "Bluey" house is based in Paddington in Brisbane, Australia, and has become quite the local attraction. Reports cited that this is a promotional partnership between the rental platform and BBC Studios.

The terms of the rental open the home to a family of four Australians, whose children could sleep in a bedroom exactly like Bluey and Bingo's from the show. The short stay also includes family activities in the backyard, a free dinner, and a visit to Ludo Studio, where the actual cartoon series is made.

Kids Drag Their Parents to See the "Bluey" House

While not everyone could book their dream vacation in the "Bluey" house on Airbnb due to time and budget constraints, local families in the city have been packing their kids in the car and driving to the street to visit the now-famous landmark. Traffic controllers had to be stationed in the neighborhood as the site has had a lot of visitors for weeks.

"It's been really quite magical," Mike Hillburger, whose house is two doors away from the "Bluey" house, told ABC News. "Just seeing all the kids - the enthusiasm as they drag their parents up the street."

Hillburger said that renovations on the property started more than a month before the site opened on Airbnb. There were rumors that it would be used as a filming location for a George Clooney movie, but Hillburger said they finally figured out what it was after the rebuild was completed.

Daley Peterson, who works in the series in Brisbane, said that this was a project in conception for more than a year. However, the "Bluey" house will soon be restored to its basic Queenslander look after the promotions are done. Susan Wheeldon of Airbnb said they would donate the props inside the home to a local children's hospital or give some pieces to young lucky fans.

Is "Bluey" in the U.S.?

There is no "Bluey" house in America, but the series has quite a following on Disney+, where it is streamed one season late than the Australian broadcast. Some American kids could also buy "Bluey" toys at large rail stores. The toy collection comes with different ranges and themes released per season.

"Bluey" is also airing in Mexico, Canada, and the U.K. The series launched in 2018 and has clicked with families, especially the parents, because while it's geared for kids, its stories are relatable to adults on many levels. Some of the episodes on "Bluey" touch on real subjects like miscarriage, vasectomy, or death.
