The "19 Kids and Counting" alumna and her husband Derick Dillard have tested positive for COVID-19 while the former is pregnant. Jill Duggar took to Instagram on Thursday, March 10, to share the news, adding that "it's not fun."
Last month, Duggar, an Arkansas native, announced that they are expecting baby number 3. She confirmed her pregnancy after suffering a miscarriage last fall.
Rainbow Baby
Their baby from the miscarriage was named "River Bliss," and they announced the loss in October of last year. They called the baby River because rivers are often symbolized as tranquil, similar to the Arkansas rivers, the couple explained in a Youtube video. The couple also said that the river in the bible (Rev 22:1-5) is a representation of the life-giving presence of God. The couple also chose Bliss as the baby's middle name because although River is no longer with them here on earth, the baby is living in "perfect bliss" with the Lord. According to the video, that thought brings immense joy and happiness to the couple.
The couple wrote on their blog last month that after losing baby River, they hoped and prayed for another baby. After the devastation they experienced due to the incident, they announced last month that they have a rainbow baby due in July. The couple was also happy to announce that the baby is healthy, and they were just waiting to reveal the gender.
Jill Duggar is just one of the celebrities who battled or are battling COVID-19 while pregnant. The couple shared a selfie with their COVID-19 test kits on social media with a caption asking for hot liquids and cough drops. She also continued that prayers for their recovery and the baby's safety are appreciated in her post.

19 Kids and Counting
Jill Duggar starred in TLC's reality TV Show "19 Kids and Counting," that documented the lives of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their children, including Jill. The TV show made the Duggars a household name. The reality show has had 11 seasons.
Eventually, Jill joined another spinoff series of the original TV show, "Counting On." However, in 2017, Jill and Derick decided to depart from the spinoff series and keep their distance from the family. Jeremy, Jill and Derick's brother-in-law, explained to Us Weekly that the family is working through some things but still got a great relationship.
Despite testing positive for COVID-19, the couple was still able to celebrate Derick's birthday with a little help from their family. However, the birthday celebration was different from what they were expecting, according to the "Counting On" star. She greeted her husband on Instagram on March 9 and shared a sweet tribute to her "rock and encourager." The couple married in June of 2014.
