The new Apple iPhone 6S has something that makes it more powerful and faster than any other smartphone currently available in the market.
The new iPhone 6S that has recently been released has made a lot of sales. Not only that, it also has made many changes inside its seemingly looking-the-same exterior, according to BGR.
According to the tech review outlet, the "S" in iPhone 6S stands for "speed." Rightly so, because the phone is reportedly faster than its predecessor and other rival smartphones in the market.
The new device, despite looking the same as the earlier version, boasts of faster app and content loading speeds, and this is brought to the general public by a secret component that Apple installed under its gorgeous hood.
AnandTech reports that Apple has something called a NAND controller designed for the iPhone. It's a component that handles storage memory read and write speeds, and is found in MacBooks—meaning, Apple is offering MacBook SSD-grade speeds on the iPhone 6S series.
In its well-detailed analysis of the iPhone 6S' storage performance, the tech site says that this kind of integration to a mobile platform hasn't been seen in any other smartphone, making it way ahead of the competition.
“Overall, NAND performance is impressive, especially in sequential cases,” the tech site wrote. “Apple has integrated a mobile storage solution that I haven’t seen in any other device yet, and the results suggest that they’re ahead of just about every other OEM in the industry here by a significant amount.”
This generally overlooked component, BGR writes, makes the new iPhone 6S receive a remarkable speed bump that users will certainly enjoy, allowing them to have a mix of work-related and leisure activities run at the same time.
"Every app that [is] tested loads faster than it does on the iPhone 6. And, most importantly, so does the content inside the apps," wrote the tech site.
The new Apple iPhone 6S has a 5.5-inch Retina display with 1920-by-1080 pixel resolution; a 12-megapixel iSight rear camera; 4K video recording capacity; 5 MP Facetime HD Camera; and a Fingerprint sensor built into the home button.
It is powered by an A9 chip with a 64-bit architecture; comes in 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants; and is loaded with a battery that may last for 16 days at normal standby time.
It's operating system is the newly-released iOS 9; has Apple Pay conveniences; and is available now, with prices starting from $749.
