It's official—the "Glee" actress Naya Rivera is now a mom. Rivera and husband Ryan Dorsey welcomed their firstborn two weeks ago.
According to E! Online, Rivera gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on Sept. 17, 2015, at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. The proud parents were overjoyed with the arrival of the newest member of the family.
In February, Rivera, 28, and the former "Justified" star, 32, shared their big secret to their fans - that they will soon be parents, according to People.
Following the said event, the actress posted a photo of a bun in the oven on Instagram and wrote on her website, "Ryan and I feel so blessed and can't wait to welcome the newest member of our family."
Rivera debuts her growing baby bump in the "Justified" party to support her husband. Moreover, she took the time to let her fans saw more of her bump in a bikini.
However, that's not all, she keeps on giving updates about her pregnancy to her fans, from several maternity looks to a babymoon, a nude photoshoot to creating a blog solely dedicated to her journey to motherhood. Her efforts suggest that she was "happily pregnant forever" as E! Online puts it.
Among the posts the new mom shared to her excited fans who want to join her on her journey to motherhood are the photos she had during her pregnancy shoot. She captioned the photo below with "Check out my pregnancy shoot with @yahoo! I love that I have been able to share this special journey with you."

The actress revealed her joy in the photoshoot in a tweet.

The new parents named their bundle of joy Josey Hollis Dorsey. According to TMZ, the name doesn't appear to have any family significance for Naya or Ryan, the couple could have taken the name after Clint Eastwood's character in "The Outlaw Josey Wales."
